What are Mason students really wearing?

Julia Bonilla, Staff Reporter

While walking the halls of George Mason, it’s easy to notice the diverse styles each student displays. From Nike hoodies to cheetah print skirts, our students are nowhere near shy from expressing their identity through clothing. They take pride in the brands they wear, and the aesthetic they exhibit. Words like “VSCO” and “Hypebeast” are commonly used to categorize students into distinct fashion communities, that shape their identity and individuality while giving them the space to find alignment with others. The Lasso interviewed Mason students on their personal styles and the styles they see around school.
