9 - NFC Championship pass interference no-call:
With a score of 20-20 in a contested NFC Championship between the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams, the Saints were mounting a comeback. On the Rams’ 13-yard line, quarterback Drew Brees passed to Tommylee Lewis and Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman knocked down Lewis while the ball was still mid-air, a blatant pass interference. To the surprise of those watching at home, no pass-interference flag was thrown. It is debatable what would have happened had the flag been thrown, however, the ball would have been placed inside the 10-yard line with a minute and a half left to play, and the Saints would have had a better chance to score. However, the Rams won the game and advanced to the Super Bowl, 26-23.
