In a thrilling comeback victory on Friday, November 13, the George Mason varsity football team defeated Amelia County, 42-28, after being down in the first quarter 21-7. Running back, senior, D’Montae Noble and wide receiver, junior Dustin Green were the greatest contributors to the Mason offense, while senior, Matt Mineo and sophomore, Finn Roou put defensive pressure on the Amelia receivers and quarterback, respectively. The Mustangs compete against Clarke County on the road for the Regional Quarter-Finals on Friday, November 20, at 7:00 pm.
