Dear Seniors,
You’re in the home stretch of high school! Thank goodness. With only 2-and-a-half more quarters to go, many of you are right in the middle of the college application process. If you feel like second semester can’t come fast enough and are busy juggling IB courses, college applications, extracurriculars, and a social life (if you have time), remember it’ll be over before you know it.
While you’re writing your essays and nervously awaiting acceptance letters, remember this is probably the last year you’ll spend with your Falls Church friends. Even though you may be excited for graduation and college, it can be bittersweet. If you’re a lifer and have been going to school in Falls Church since kindergarten, it’s weird to think that your classmates will all be scattered across the country in the next year.
Even though the college application process is stressful, put it all in perspective. There is a school for you and you’ll find a place where you’ll be happy.
Senior year is short so don’t stress yourself out and forget to have fun.
