On Friday, December 6th, the Girls Varsity Basketball team played Kettle Run at home, winning the game 68-18. In their dominant performance, Senior Ellie Friesen led the team in points, with 17. Sophomore Rose Weatherly added an additional 15 points. However, the biggest factor in the victory was Meridian’s outstanding defense, only allowing Kettle Run to score 18 points. After this game, Meridian’s record is now 2-0.
