On Oct. 8, the Meridian cheer team performed at their first home meet of the 2025 competitive cheer season. With seven other schools coming from all around the area, the Mustangs were ready to perform their best, and practice their skills to impress the judges and the crowd. The Meridian student section was dressed in black, red, white, and sequins to represent the Mustang spirit. Despite placing seventh out of eight, the cheerleaders gave the competition their all, staying in sync with each other and the music, and did not drop a single flyer. The cheer team put on a spectacular performance for everyone watching.
