Love: Colin Kaepernick, 49ers Quarterback
Say what you will about his personal decisions and politics. He’s a pretty solid streaming option for this week. A Falcons matchup is inviting to any QB (31st against QBs), but especially to Kaepernick this week, because of how the game will turn out. The Falcons will inevitably go up very early in the game, forcing Kaepernick to throw instead of hand off. He’ll be good for some garbage time points in the 4th quarter, especially.
Love: Tom Brady, Patriots Quarterback
Worst QB matchup possible, the Broncos. The usually elite Brady is ranked only ninth this week due to his hard matchup this week. I have to disagree. Brady has not backed down against good defenses this year (or ever in his life). If there’s a matchup-proof QB out there it’s Brady.
Love: Michael Crabtree, Raiders Wide Receiver
Crabtree has been hard to predict this year. He has either scored under three points or over nine points in every single game this year. He is either awesome or a huge bust. He’s set up to be awesome this week based on his matchup. Amari Cooper will be covered by star CB Casey Hayward, so QB Derek Carr will be looking to Crabtree all day.
Hate: Stefon Diggs, Vikings Wide Receiver
The Vikings offense is nothing to write home about, and against a mediocre defense, Diggs probably isn’t a great start this week, as he hasn’t actually had a good game since week 10. Plus, Vikings versus Colts should be a low-scoring game leading to fewer fantasy points
Hate: Spencer Ware, Chiefs Running Back
Ware is undoubtedly one of the most RBs in the league, but he can’t live up to his fantasy potential with Charcandrick West taking his goal line runs. If you don’t believe me that this is happening, look at his rushing TDs from week 7 onward. He’s rushed for one. His floor is especially low this week against the Titans top five run defense.
