The George Mason Wrestling team had an astounding day on Saturday, February 10, at the regional tournament. At the end of a hard day of wrestling, six of the wrestlers got third place or higher, qualifying them to wrestle at the Virginia State tournament in Salem this upcoming Saturday, February 17. At the 145 lbs weight class, junior Jack Felgar was the regional champion. At the 113 lbs weight class, junior Bryan Villegas won second place. In the 152 lbs weight class, junior Connor Murray received second place. Junior West Hagler got third place in the 138 lbs weight class and senior Finn Rouu also received third place in the 195 lbs weight class. The team will travel to Salem, VA on Thursday, February 15, to wrestle in the state tournament on Friday and Saturday.
