The George Mason boys basketball team is undefeated and rolling in 2016. It’s shaping up to be a season fans and players will remember for a long time.

On Friday, January 29, during the boys’ home game against William Monroe, the Lasso will host its annual “Lasso Night” featuring a half-court shot competition and a raffle. This year, fans will have an opportunity to take home a piece of the memorable 2016 season: a basketball autographed by all the players on the 2016 George Mason varsity basketball team.

The game will be a great opportunity for you to catch up with friends and have fun after Winter Storm Jonas, which left us all snowed in last weekend.  There will also be a raffle for a Valentine’s Day gift basket, featuring movies, gift cards, snacks, and more.

Proceeds from the raffles go toward funding the journalism program at GMHS.

The boys have had a great season so far and are aiming for the state tournament.  Come out for a good time and to support Mason basketball, you won’t regret it!
