The streets of Washington D.C are expected to be crowded with hundreds of thousands of people on Saturday January 21 to protest the rights of women, the LGBT community, and minority groups of all types. The rally begins at 10 a.m by Capitol Hill. Several motivations for the march spurred out of the recent election results for presidency.
This event is not just local – the Women’s March on Washington page confirms 616 marches across the globe, with 1,364,010 smaller “sister” marches. What do students at Mason think about this historical event?
