“We played well and everyone was definitely hype about that game. Our shots weren’t falling which is always tough, but we did a pretty good job shutting down their best player on defense,” said sophomore, Raquel Dod.
The regional finals for the George Mason girls varsity basketball was played at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle school this past Thursday, February 23, 2017, against Nottoway High School. After four aggressive periods, the Lady Mustangs fell short with a close final score of 43-37 while Nottoway came away victorious.
