The Mason football team swept their final regular season game last Friday November 3, breaking their four-game losing streak and shutting down the Madison County Mountaineers 48-0. The Mustangs, now 6-4, advance into postseason with full hearts, ready to battle in the first round of playoffs against Robert E. Lee tonight.
“The momentum is tremendous, we’re really going to execute every single play,” senior quarterback Thomas Creed said.
Friday was the football team’s Senior Night, too. Senior football players, along with senior band members and fall athletes, were commended during halftime in honor of their time and commitment to their teams.
