Freshman Emily Borum is wearing some classy Jordans today. They’re the 1 Retro High Obsidian UNC, arguably the most popular pair of Jordan 1’s. The “Obsidian” has the softest leather and texture compared to other Jordans, which have a more firm feel. These shoes are stitched tightly and have the average Jordan cushioning. They’re also on the higher end of the sneaker price spectrum.

Justin Cerullo’s Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintages.

Senior Justin Cerullo is rocking some Nike Blazer 77 Vintage. These shoes are similar in style to Converse and are easy to slip on. These shoes aren’t too expensive and can be paired with anything.

Freshman Alistar Way is wearing Nike Air Max 270 React Imperial Blue, Ember, Glow and Black. These colorful shoes have creative geometric art on the sides of the both shoes and include soft cushioning at the toe and heel. They’re a bit pricey but we believe the uniqueness and comfortability of these shoes make them totally worth it.

Senior Oliver Stufft is rocking some Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Black. The brand Yeezys was founded by the one and only Kanye West. These shoes are one of the most comfortable on the market. The black and grey pair has extra cushioning within the shoe, and is great for casual wear and dressed-up looks.

Joy Wilson’s Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged Platform Sneakers.

Sophomore Joy Wilson is sporting Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged Platform Sneakers. Converses are seen as a somewhat  basic shoe, but these aren’t your average Converse. These platform sneakers raise the bar for Converse wearers everywhere. In the day and age of people wanting the same things but in unique ways, these platforms shoes would be a safe purchase.

Sophomore Avery Ross is strolling down the Meridian hallways in iconic Air Force 1 Shadow Pastels. Air Force 1’s never go out of style. In this specific design of Air Forces, each part of the classic shoe design is a different color. These shoes can be worn with any kind of style from boho, sporty, preppy, and/or trendy, and aren’t particularly expensive. These shoes are necessary in every guy or girl’s closet.

Tony Tomljanovich’s Nike TNs.

Senior Tony Tomljanovich struts through school with the white, grey-bottomed Nike TNs. This pair of shoes hold a high reputation of being extremely comfortable. They are said to be light and breathable. Additionally, they have a unique design that adds some spice to the design. Using this photo as proof, they look great when kept clean. Although they are pricey, their unique design allows them to stand out compared to other sneakers and make them worth its price.

Mr. Walsh rocks mustard yellow slip-on Vans. These Vans are super comfortable and go with every outfit! These shoes are affordable so there’s no need to break the bank when purchasing. They can be dressed up or dressed down since it’s such a simple canvas design. Vans come in many variations consisting of high-top, low-top, and slip-on. The best part is that they are all customizable and have great color options.

Freshman Ana Tomljanovich wears Demonia Emily’s 300 Buckle Heart Plate Mid Calf Boots. Although these leather, 2-inch platform boots have five leather heart buckles, they have a zipper in the back for easy application. They have a boxy shape, rounded edges, with stitching around the rim. They also can add a kick to any simple outfit!

Susan Rotherham’s White Converse with Rainbow Bottoms.

Sophomore Susan Rotherham wears her white high-top converse with rainbow bottoms. Converse, also known as Chuck Taylors, come with two options: high-top and low-top. They are also completely customizable. Better yet, you can mix and match colors. For example, you can make one side blue, the other green, and the tongue yellow (or other colors of course). Susan made a good decision to have the bottoms of her shoes a pop of color to highlight the simple white high-top.

Ricardo Quiroz’s Club C Reeboks.

Senior Ricardo Quiroz is wearing Club C Reeboks. These vintage Reeboks are sporty but can be dressed casually. The off-white color makes them seem more vintage-looking, which is very in style. The blue accents add to the athletic look — a common characteristic of Reebok shoes. Almost all Reeboks have the brown rubber bottom which creates good traction and adds a different look compared to other sneakers.
