Zoe’s World: “Annie” the movie
May 9, 2015
The new film version of “Annie” (played by Quvenzhan Wallis) takes place in New York City.
The year that it is taking place is in 2014. Annie lives in a orphanage run by Ms. Hannigan (Cameron Diaz) before she is fostered by Will Stacks (played by Jamie Foxx). Annie lives?with other orphans, some of which are named Pepper, Mia, and Isabella. Will Stacks, Annie’s adoptive dad, meets Annie when he saves her from getting hit by a car.
Will Stacks wants to get elected as mayor, and he asks Annie to help with his campaign.
Annie wants to find her real parents, who said they would come back for her. Guy (Bobby Cannavale), who works for Will Stacks, creates fake parents for Annie to trick her into leaving Will Stacks. Will Stacks rescues Annie from the fake parents adopts her.
Some of the songs that they produce are “Maybe” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life.” I would recommend this movie because there a lot of dancing, singing, and dialogue. I recommend this movie because they’re is a lot of talking and singing in this movie. My favorite songs of the movie are “Maybe,” “Little Girls,” and “Tomorrow.”
One thing I disliked about the movie is beginning because I didn’t like that Ms. Hannigan was not?nice to the orphans. My favorite part is when Annie is adopted by Will Stacks. People who like musicals and people who enjoyed the older version of Annie will like the new version. Go and see Annie today!
