On Monday, Oct 16 the sophomores went on the annual SophMORPHing field trip with their stable groups. They spent a majority of the day in Washington DC, working to complete the scavenger hunt tasks to earn the most points and win a catered breakfast for their stable group. These tasks consisted of exploring the National Mall, taking group pictures around various monuments, and filling in the blank word hunts. At certain locations, they were instructed to make Global Context-related videos. Each video, photo, and writing task was worth different point values. Ms. Glees’s stable group won the catered breakfast as they scored the highest number of points. This trip was a chance for stable groups to bond, work as a team, explore, learn, and have lots of fun!
